Teaching schedule

At BOKU there are two terms during a year, a summer term and a winter term.

The courses can be of 1.5, 2, 3, 4 and 4.5 ECTS.

As a student you will have a high possibility to make your personal semester profile because of the many short courses that can be combined in a large number of ways. But you also need to focus some time in

planning your semester to make sure that your schedule will fit you. To facilitate your planning a learning agreement signed by the university responsible persons (home and host) is strongly recommended.

At BOKU you do not need to apply for the courses during the semester, you just need to show up to the lectures.

 

NOTE: Not all of the semesterpackages at BOKU comprises 30 ECTS or more. When this is the case it is possible to choose courses from the semesterpackages of the other specialisations running parallel.

 

 

There are two terms at BOKU:

 

Winter term (semester 1 and 3): Week 40-8 (6,7,8 Semester holidays)

Summer term (semester 2 and 4): Week 9-27
