Teaching schedule

The teaching schedule at SLU id divided into 8 blocks. Each block has duration of 4.5 weeks.

Courses can take up different percentages of a block as well as stretch through more than one block. If the course stretches through more than one block it is most often a combination of block 1a + 1b, 2a + 2b etc.

The courses can be of 5, 7.5, 10 and 15 ECTS.

When you have to follow two courses at the same time because they each take up less than 100 % of the daytime you must check the time schemes of the individual courses to make sure that there is no overlap in lecture times. This can be done by using the link for the “Course Homepage” found in the “Long Course Description”. At the course homepage you have to choose “Scheme”. If the course does not have a homepage you have to write to the course teacher and ask for the times of lectures.

 

Most of the courses takes place at the location of Uppsala but a few courses can be located other places if the course runs full time at the location in two consecutive blocks (the different locations of SLU)

Block 1a: August 27 - September 26

Block 1b: September 27 - October 26

Block 2a: October 29 - November 28

Block 2b: November 29 - January 11

Block 3a: January 14 - February 13

Block 3b: Febuary 14 - March 14

Block 4a: March 17 - April 23

Block 4b: April 24 - May 30
