Grading scheme and conversion at the partner universities
The partner universities still follow different grading scales, which makes comparisons of grades difficult. To secure the transparency of grading throughout Europe a common European ECTS scheme has been made (see table below). The ECTS grading scheme will be used for all the courses of the MSc as well as the corresponding grade from the national grading system. This is done to ensure credit transfer and to avoid mistakes during translation as well as to give an integrated European standard that can be used and understood with job applications all over Europe. As stated above grading is carried out according to the rules at the different partner universities, but the
The ELLS Quality Assurance Group will be kept informed and involved in further development of quality assurance measures.
